Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an educated strategy for pest control that minimises risks to people and the environment. This holistic approach assesses your unique setting and combines multiple safe prevention methods to deter and prevent pests from entering or existing in your workplace.

By focusing on eliminating the factors that are encouraging or supporting pest populations on your property, this sensible and humane process can be used to manage all types of pests in all types of environments — rural, urban and agricultural.

Combining methods such as controlling access, limiting food, and humane trapping, means that reliance on pesticides is not necessary for the long-term mitigation of pests, making your workplace safer and healthier for you and your staff.

IPM is not a single pest control method but, rather, a series of pest management evaluations, decisions and controls. This allows us to create a comprehensive and effective pest solution for every property.

Our IPM programme follows AIB International Consolidated Standards. These are globally recognised pest control standards established and audited by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) and used by many large companies in New Zealand, in both food service and non-food service industries.
